Couples Therapy
A relationship with a romantic partner can be one of the most important and fulfilling relationships of our lives, and also the most challenging. Relationships force us to confront our old wounds and insecurities, and to find the balance between sharing your life with others, while still nurturing your identity as an individual.
Couples often come to therapy feeling stuck in cycles of conflict, disconnection, and hurt. My training in working with couples equips me to help you make sense of these patterns, and what is behind them. Through a balance of addressing practical concerns and the deeper emotions underneath, we can work to make sense of the patterns you feel trapped in and create the space and safety for new patterns of connection to emerge.
I especially enjoy working with parents - wherever you may be on your parenting journey, from trying to conceive to working on successful co-parenting following a separation, I bring an ability to balance the practical with the emotional, to create meaningful change, cooperation, and understanding in your coparenting relationship.
